Young Game Changers

A group of “Young Game Changers” has come to town!

A community-based organization for young adults interested in discussing and acting on issues of local importance particular to North Haven, the Young Game Changers group aims to inspire young people to voice their opinions in constructive ways. While the group is open to all young adults, regardless of political affiliation, an official club named the Young Game Changers will be established at North Haven High School in the near future.

Under the mentorship of Portia Elmer of the North Haven Democratic Town Committee, the Young Game Changers plan to meet regularly beginning in the fall but will schedule some activities for the summer. The group held its first meeting recently at a May barbeque sponsored by the DTC and is making plans for future events, such as an Art Night sometime this summer. Details will be announced.

Anyone interested in joining the Young Game Changers can contact the DTC by emailing [email protected] , calling (203) 626-1711, or through its website:
